Printing Quotes
If you know exactly what you need a print price for, even if you are just checking that the price you already have is fair, email us the details. These should include:
• What the product is (e.g. leaflet, card, booklet, folder, banner),
• Size (flat size, or folded size),
• Number of sides printed, or pages in document,
• Stock (what it's being printed on),
• Number of colours (e.g. full colour, black on white),
• Finishing (e,g. saddle stitched, folded, laminated),
• Quantity or quantities,
• If suitable print-ready artwork is provided,
• Where it's to be delivered,
• Any deadline,
• And anything else you think is relevant.
If you do not have specific details just tell us what you can, and we'll get back to you with some suggestions and options, including ways to save you money.
Artwork Quotes
Asking for a quote on artwork is a lot like asking for a quote on a holiday or on building a house, or how much a car costs - it all depends what you want to end up with.
It also depends on the style you are considering and what you are providing. For example, are you providing all the photos and graphics and the text? Do you already have a mock up of what you are hoping to achieve, or a sample that some other organisation has done? Showing us that can give us a good idea of what will be required.
WARNING: If you have not finalised exactly what you want in the content before giving it to us, making repeated changes sometimes takes as long as setting up the first draft.
Frog Print charges $77 per hour including gst. However we have a lower rate for people in the printing trade, for not-for-profit organisations, and for long-term clients. And we are happy to work to a budget.
One thing for sure though you can count on - everyone gets more than they pay for. That's because we enjoy what we do and will often go over and above what is required just because we want to always be happy to put our name to a job. There are much more important things in life than money.
If you want to find out if we are a match for your business or organisation, and so you can see how good we are at our job, we are even happy to give new clients an hour artwork for free. (Of course, if you do not proceed with the job, the artwork remains the property of Frog Print so you are not permitted to use it.)
